A Wall Street tycoon is a financial wizard but, when it comes to the ways of romance, is a bumbling novice. After meeting a beautiful young woman, he is desperate to win her over and he turns to his valet for advice of a romantic nature. Our would-be romantic decides to follow the woman when she takes an ocean voyage and attempts to win her affections, but his attempts to do so end up failing due to his awkwardness. Things change dramatically when word comes to the ship that the stock market has crashed.
